Before we got home we needed to make a stop at the emergency room. The drive from the airport to home was three hours so we decided to stop at our family's hometown hospital which was on the way home. Little Maya was so sick.
She had been running a little fever, but it must of worsened at the end of the very long flight. The ER doctor and nurses were wonderful. The diagnosis was pneumonia. After being at the ER for over 2 hours we were able to go home with antibiotics. Maya, Dayton, and our two other kids were wonderful throughout the night. Today Maya feels a little better. Oh my it feels so good to look in their rooms and see their sweet faces asleep in their beds. It seems so unbelievable. Rocking them, kissing their little faces, hearing them laugh is such joy to our hearts!! God is so good and faithful.
She is so lucky to be home with her family, getting the medical treatment she needs!

Finally caught up with your blog. So glad to see them home! Sad that little Maya is not feeling well, but she will rebound quickly. :) She has a mama and papa to make sure of that now. :) yay!
