Praise God, the Gotcha

Today was the day! We have the kids and made it back to the hotel. The 5 hour car ride was an adventure with our little Maya talking up a storm and wiggling around almost the entire way! Marty our driver came thru with her trying her hardest to get his attention especially in the mountains. I thought Dayton would be the ornery one, but God placed in his heart a quietness that was a blessing. He sat so nicely and from time to time would look over at his new sister with a look that said "Hey, what's the big fuss about? OK, well you keep us entertained, I'll just look at the scenery."
When Maya did finally fall asleep on my Sister's lap, Dayton would look over every once in a while and put his finger to his lips and ssshhh. Oh, what a good brother he's going to be!
The directors were wonderful and the staff truly showed their love as they left. The day was so fast as we had to be back in time to get the passport photos of the kiddos done.
When we finally made it back to hotel we had some bites of ham and cheese sandwiches, juice and play time. Right now Dayton is napping and Maya is playing quietly in the play crib.
Dad is just trying to catch his breathe and while posting is counting blessings and wondering what this whole new adventure God has in store for us is going to be.
Love and Blessings to all, especially my Wife and Kids back home.
Dan
